[French Riviera] EZE VILLAGE - STUNNING OLD TOWN AND SEASIDE

There are many beautiful small villages on the French Riviera that are worth a visit. One of them is Eze Village.
It was on holidays and I decided to walk and visit a little around. Because I didn’t have a car I had to find a place accessible by train. One of my friend recommended me Eze Village.
The hike to Eze Village from Eze took me around 1 hour. I recommended it because you can enjoy beautiful sea views. However, I highly advise you to take it seriously, to wear good shoes, to take water and sun cream. It’s not that easy to climb up this mountain. Here, some pictures of my hike.
Finally arrived to Eze Village, I discovered a cute village with old picturesque and medieval houses. I spent the all afternoon there, it was very nice. Most of the houses are now art and crafts shops, which transform the village is a small open-air museum. Many buildings were characterized by UNESCO as monument of world cultural heritage.
ome restaurants over there, some with a very good view but all are quite expensive. Personnaly, I bought a salad in a supermarket and brought it with me to eat there. I was lucky to find a great spot with a stunning view! Otherwise, one of my friend who also went there, told me ‘Le Nid D’Aigle’ was pretty good.
Then, after eating my salad and walking around the village, I went to the “Jardin Exotique” (Exotic Garden) on the top of the village. It cost me 3,5€ as a student (had to show my student card). For adult, it’s 6€ but it’s worth the money! The real asset of the garden is its amazing view! Be sure to have battery and memory left in your camera. The plants of the “Jardin Exotique” are cactus, which I am not found of but the garden is really well maintained and pretty. There are also small areas where you can relax and enjoy the nice view. The statues seemingly come to life in photo series.
To sum up, I really enjoyed Eze Village and highly recommend it to you!
