THE EFFEIL TOWER

Did you know? Most Parisians have never been on the top of the Eiffel Tower! Why? Only because "I don’t want to queue. Anyway I live in Paris, I will go another day" but finally they never go.

Parisians prefer enjoying a good view on the Eiffel Tower from terraces, rooftops,...

KILL TWO BIRDS WITH ON STONE - ALL PARIS + EIFFEL TOWER

- Montparnasse Tower (56eme étage - observatory)

- Rooftop of Arc de Triomphe

- Rooftop of Galerie Lafayette & Printemps

- Bateau Mouche (tips: go for the bateau bus which is a great deal is you don’t mind not having a “guide voice” on board)

SHOPPING

Parisian shopping experience with the luxury haute couture houses and the more affordable boutiques is a must-do when visiting the French capital!

When you think shopping in France, you directly think the Champs-Elysées, Galeries Lafayette and Place Vendome. But they are not the favorite places of the Parisians, who prefer boutiques from small creators with an intimate atmosphere.

So, if I do recommend you to visit those highly touristic places on your first time in Paris, I also highly advice you to keep your shopping budget for the following shopping areas:

FROM HAUTE COUTURE TO PRET A PORTER

- Saint-Germain-des-Prés, go along the street of Rue de Sèvres-Babylone and Rue de Rennes - 6ème arrondissement

- Le Marais - 3ème-4ème arrondissement

Subway station: Saint Paul (Line 1)

VINTAGE STORES

- In the streets climbing up to Montmartre

Street: Rue des Martyrs

DECORATION AND ANTIQUITE

- Le marché aux puces de Saint Ouen
