Even though I was born in Paris region, I still discover new places. I always feel like a tourist there, taking so many pictures. I especially love Paris and its secrets, out of ordinary places. This week, I have decided to go visit one of them, a place that only locals and lucky passer-by are aware of.
Today I want to introduce you Rue Crémieux.
A beautiful and authentic street with blue, pink, yellow, orange and green houses. You clearly do not expect to see this beautiful street in Paris, it’s a real change of scene in the heart of the capital. Some of the facades even have beautiful paintings on it.
WHERE? It’s a street in the 12th arrondissement.
HOW TO GO? The closest subway stations are:
Paris Gare de Lyon (Metro 1, Metro 14, RER A, RER D)
Quai de la Rapée (Metro 5)
WHEN? To make the most beautiful pictures of the street, I recommend you to go during a sunny day, either early in the morning or during the afternoon.
FOR HOW LONG? The street is quite short, it will take you around 10-15 minutes to discover it and take photos.
MORE INFORMATION Please be careful some owners do not want people to take pictures of their houses, they indicate it with a sign on their window. However, you can take pictures of the all street… that’s what I did !!!
